I forgot we aren't together anymore.
I forgot that the past three years have been hell.
I forgot that you will never forgive me.
I forgot that things were fucked up.
I forgot that you hated me.
I forgot that we are not in love.
I forgot that I'm your ex.
I forgot we aren't a family.
I forgot that we will never get married.
I forgot what it felt like to be alone.
I forgot about how it's me just me.
I forgot that you have moved on.

But then I remembered that we will never be.
And that truly hurts me.
